This RFID software system makes use of the data flow between the manufacturing source, distribution center, and retailers for pedigree verification. Franwell rfid> Tote Portal™ (the equipment developed to enable practical retail use of RFID requirements for pharmaceuticals) is a store portal that houses RFID hardware. This compact unit consists of the requisite hardware enclosed in a durable molded plastic RFID portal. The encased RFID equipment is designed to fit conveniently and unobtrusively in a pharmacy/store setting.
