rfid>Pallet Track edgeware, has been designed by Franwell to integrate to your warehouse inventory management system. Pallet Track enables automatic updates of pallets status and locations as inventory is moved throughout your distribution facility.

The Pallet Track solution deploys RFID metal mount tags to identify each pallet position in your warehouse racks. Pallets are tagged with passive RFID labels, either on your dock as product is received or by your supplier prior to shipping to your facility. The labels can also be customized and printed with human readable information that might be essential to your inventory control department or customers.

RFID readers are installed on forklifts and at strategic positions in your warehouse, such as, entry and exit doors. The statuses of tagged pallets are then automatically updated as a forklift operator performs normal functions, such as putaway, replenishment, pallet movement and picking. Franwell's middleware filters the RFID reads and works with our pallet tracking edgeware and your inventory management system to determine the state and location of the inventory. The required information is then sent to your inventory system to update the pallet status and location in realtime.

The system requires limited operator intervention, allowing for detection of inventory status as the forklift operator goes about his normal duties. This provides for a more efficient and effective workforce, with reduced operator training and increased inventory accuracy.
